Who This Notice Is From
You give your details to the car wash you visit. That car wash decides why your data is used, and is responsible for it. EasyWash is the software the car wash uses, made by Aravir Technologies, which holds the data for the car wash and uses it only to run the service.
What We Collect, and Why
- Your mobile number
- To make your booking or bill, to send the bill and booking messages on WhatsApp, and to sign you in with a one-time code.
- Your name, if you give it
- So staff know who the car is for.
- Your vehicle number and type
- To price the wash, find your car at the counter, and keep your wash history.
- Bookings, washes, bills, payments and refunds
- To give the service, keep tax records the law requires, and show you your bills.
- Before and after photos of your car, if staff take them
- To show the condition of the car and the work done. After photos are shown on your bill.
- Your rating and comment, if you give one
- To tell the car wash how it did.
- Your choice about reminders
- To send wash reminders and offers only if you agreed.
- A device code from the app, if you use it
- To send booking and bill alerts to your phone.
We do not collect card or UPI details. Online payments go to Razorpay, which handles them.
Who Sees It
The car wash and its staff. Messages go through our WhatsApp and SMS providers, and online payments through Razorpay. We do not sell your data.
How Long We Keep It
For as long as the car wash needs it to serve you. Bills, payments and refunds are kept for as long as tax law requires, even after you ask us to erase you, but without your name, number or vehicle. A car wash may switch on automatic erasure for customers who have not visited for a set time.
Your Choices and Rights
- Stop reminders at any time: use Stop Reminders on any bill, reply STOP on WhatsApp, or turn reminders off in the app.
- See, correct or erase your data: ask the car wash, or use Delete Account in the app, which erases your name, number, vehicles, notes, ratings and photos in every car wash.
- Raise a grievance: use the form at /grievance. You get a reference number, and we answer within 90 days.
- If you are not satisfied with the answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
